Yuppi Camp organises free therapeutic recreation camps and activities for children and teenagers with cancer, diabetes or other autoimmune or serious diseases, and their families.
We are the first camp in Romania that uses the revolutionary method of recreational therapy (also known as therapeutic recreation). The method is recognised and implemented worldwide and constitutes an independent specialisation in leading universities. It has a positive impact on many aspects, including children's self-confidence and their degree of independence.
Camp Yuppi was established in 2011 to offer an effective way of complementary therapy to children from Romania living with chronic diseases. Yuppi Camp organises free therapeutic recreation camps and activities for children and teenagers with cancer, diabetes or other autoimmune or serious diseases, and their families.
Family camp (for children with cancer or other autoimmune and serious diseases aged between 0 and 13, and their families): 18 – 22 July 2023, Vărșag;
Family camp (for children with diabetes aged between 0 and 13, and their families): 25 – 29 July 2023, Vărșag;
Siblings’ camp (for children with cancer or other autoimmune and serious diseases aged between 6 and 18, and their siblings): 14 – 19 August 2023, Vărșag;
Camp for teenagers with diabetes (aged between 13 and 18): 28 August – 2 September, Săulia.
