About the Privacy Policy

This section describes in detail the processing, collection, use and protection of your personal data, from the moment you come into contact with Yuppi Camp (e.g., in person, at a charity sports event, online).

The purpose of the procedure is to provide information on the management of personal data, applying the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons, on the management of personal data and on the free flow of such data, and on the repeal of Directive 95/46/CE (‘GDPR’ general data protection regulation).

What data do we process?

The type of personal data collected and processed (first name, last name, e-mail address, phone number, date of birth, mailing address, etc.) varies depending on the type of interaction with Yuppi Camp (donor, volunteer, employee, consultant, company, employee, third party within the framework of an event, etc.).

If you participate or confirm your intention to participate in an activity/event/campaign organised by Yuppi Camp, depending on the activity/event/campaign, any of the following personal data may be collected:

  • You participate in or show interest in an event organised by or for Yuppi Camp;

  • You are the beneficiary of a Yuppi Camp event or camp;

  • You subscribe to the newsletter;

  • You contact us for further information (via e-mail, telephone, in person);

  • You have given consent to a third party, entity or individual, to be contacted by us;

Why do we process these data?

Your personal data are only collected for legitimate reasons and in accordance with applicable law for:

  • Information regarding your donation (cash, recurring, online, volunteering, in kind, etc.);

  • To identify you for an event where you have expressed an interest in participating (e.g., campaigns, charity sports events) and for marketing purposes, depending on the options selected.

Specifically, your personal data is processed by Yuppi Camp as follows:

  • To contact you, confirm and register your presence in the activities/ events/ campaigns organised by Yuppi Camp (refusal to share data leads to the impossibility of participation).
  • To carry out information, communication and promotional activities of Yuppi Camp (according to Art. 6 para. 1 letter (a) GDPR). In case of refusal, Yuppi Camp cannot inform you of how your donation (cash, recurring, online, volunteering, in-kind, etc.) contributed to Yuppi Camp's mission. In case of withdrawal of consent, your personal data will no longer be used for marketing or any other purpose; the revocation does not affect the legality of the data processing carried out on the basis of consent before the revocation.

Who else can access the data?

In order to fulfil the purpose of data processing, Yuppi Camp may provide limited access to your data to possible partners, third-party natural or legal persons who support Yuppi Camp in achieving its objectives or in the implementation and conduct of activities/ events/ campaigns in which you have chosen to participate or for which you have expressed your interest in participating or to public/ local authorities (for commercial marketing communications, under the conditions and limits imposed by law, when the disclosure of personal data is provided by law, etc.).

What are your rights?

According to current legislation, your rights are:

The right of access: you can receive confirmation from Yuppi Camp at any time that we are processing your personal data, as well as request information about the specifics of the processing, such as purpose, categories of managed data, the right to modify, delete or limit data. This right allows you to receive a free copy of the processed personal data, as well as any additional copies for a fee.

  2. The right to rectification of data: you can ask us to modify your incorrect personal data or, as the case may be, to complete data that is incomplete;

  3. The right to deletion: you can request the deletion of your personal data if:

    1. they are no longer necessary for the purpose for which we collected and processed them;

    2. you withdrew your consent to the processing of personal data, and we can no longer process them on any other legal basis

    4. personal data must be deleted according to the legislation in force;
