What we promise

At Yuppi Camp we cannot cure children, but we can give them a few days when they feel accepted as they are. Days when they feel safe. Days without they worry of illness.

THE PRINCIPLES OF YUPPI CAMP

  •     The disease has no limits and does not differentiate, so neither will we. Our organisation is open and accepting: political and religious beliefs, ethnic or national affiliation, sexual affiliation or gender identity do not influence work processes in our field, in our camps, or office activities;

  •      We assume responsibility for our Cause, therefore our primary goal is to ensure outstanding quality in our camp programs and in the health care of our campers, as well as to create and maintain the transparency and independence of our organisation;

  •     We are authorised partners of the Bátor Tábor Foundation, the main therapeutic recreation centre in Central Europe. Our camps are organised according to professional quality criteria devised by them, striving to also meet the criteria system of the global Serious Fun Children's Network.

  •      We think in perspective in order to be able to maintain our organisation in the long term: our work process is regulated by a 3-year strategic plan and a specific activity plan each year;

  •     Our results are available to the general public: our annual reports can be viewed on our website;

  •    We live almost exclusively from donations from companies and individuals, the exception being from time-to-time projects with non-refundable financing. Our work is focused on the realisation of our mission, independent of political and religious movements.

  •     We always inform our donors about the steps taken to organise the camps, specifying how their money is used.
